■ Indonesia Military Raise Monitoring in Papua
Indonesian Military (TNI) raise its monitoring in Puncak Jaya district after the shooting incident which killed corporal Saeful Jusuf by Free Papua Movement (OPM) groups on Saturday last week.
TNI Commander in Chief Jenderal Djoko Santoso Monday (16/3) said this move will not be followed by non-organic troops mobilization to the region.
According to Djoko, he had ordered Cendrawasih Military Distric Commander to coordinate with the police, to search the OPM groups and take a necessary measure.
