PT Garuda Indonesia (Garuda) announce its 2008 unaudited operating profit was Rp683,6 billion.
Emirsyah Satar, Garuda Indonesia President Director on Tuesday (3/3) said Garuda 2008 profit up than Rp258 billion in 2007
"In the last two years, we continue to grow," Emirsyah said.
Garuda growth also occured on time performing (OTP) rate, the level of success of departure and arrival to the published schedule.
In 2007, average Garuda OTP 76.73% and in 2008 was 84.11%.
Meanwhile, passengers load factor in 2008 was 76.53%, down from 77.46% in 2007.
And operating income in 2008 Rp18.1 trillion, up from Rp13,1 trillion in 2007.
■ Domestic Gas Allocation targeted 27 Percent Up
Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (BP Migas) targeting, allocation domestic gas 27 percent up in 2010.
Head of BP Migas R Priyono said Tuesday (3/3), in 2010, domestic gas allocation targeted to be 1.35 trillion cubic feet (TCF), 27.36 percent surge compared to 1.06 TCF target in 2008.
According to Priyono, increased domestic gas allocation will be done through production build up and utilization optimization.
And the measure will be taken is encouraging government policies to set gas price to be conducive for producers and consumers.
As of Januari 2008, Indonesia proven gas reserves are estimated at 112,25 TCF.
